Mission Statement - Sunshine White Feather
The mission of this non-traditional festival/pow-wow is to further our tribe, to create awareness of the perils of not taking care of Mother Earth. The planet needs to be protected and my hope lies in the upcoming generation to achieve a way to create energy that is totally green and not harmful to any living thing because everything was created to be in perfect balance and to flourish, not to be destroyed and ravaged. Wind and solar are the way to go. To protect the water and the air is the most important thing we can do right now. We need to leave the future generations a legacy that they can live with.
